Focus Graphite Inc V.FMS.WT

Primary Symbol: V.FMS Alternate Symbol(s):  FCSMF

Focus Graphite Inc. is a Canada-based advanced exploration company, which is focused on developing high grade flake graphite deposits to supply battery grade graphite. The Company's projects include Lac Knife and Lac Tetepisca. Its flagship Lac Knife Project is a 100% owned, high-grade crystalline flake graphite deposit located in northeastern Quebec, about 27 kilometers (kms) south of Fermont. The Lac Knife project is comprised of the Lac Knife property plus an isolated block of 12 CDC claims located 11 kms to the north of the Lac Knife property on NTS sheet 23B-11 (Montagne-aux-Bouleaux property). Its 100%-owned Lac Tetepisca Graphite Project is located in the Southwest Manicouagan reservoir area of the Cote-Nord region of Quebec, one of North America's leading emerging flake graphite districts. It comprises two contiguous properties, Lac Tetepisca and Lac Tetepisca Nord. Together, the two properties form a block of approximately 126 map-designated claims (total area: 6,785.14 ha).

RE: NGC has nothing to do with li-ion batt

RE: NGC has nothing to do with li-ion battAs "thekernel" said in a post on the NGC board, Chinese use -100 mesh flake to make spherical graphite for Li ion batteries because that is all they have (large flake can and likely will be used as demand grows - the flakes are micronized anyway). The flakes are rounded and purified to make spherical graphite but the yield is only a third. Apparently NGC has already completed these tests and the yield is much better than Chinese.

60% of Lac Knife graphite is less than 150 mesh which is not good for Li ion batteries or graphene.  Lac Knife’s other 40% is plus 100 mesh so where is the -100 mesh and how much is +80 mesh large flake? Lac Knife’s recoveries are only 80% (NGC = 95%) so the recoverable large flake grade of the deposits is similar. Bissett Creek (NGC) has a much lower strip ratio and is closer to civilization.

The initial N43-101 for FMS and the updated N43-101 for NGC will continue to help separate fact from fiction in understanding the differences between the two deposits.

This isn't a zero-sum game.  There should be room for both companies in the market.
