Glencore were looking at a 20B deal for Eurasian Natural Resources. The CEO now says they are not pursuing this anymore. So here is a large company that is not going ahead with a 20B deal, have just bought a 475M stake in a Peru project, is most likely looking to add more and is obviously not worried about Peru. I sure hope they are kicking the tires at Canariaco.

Quick back of the enveloppe calculation of the Glencore deal indicates they paid around 9.4c lb. That is in line with the deals from the past year. If we got that for Canariaco, it would come out to 7.20 a share. IF....
