CappI would imagine that the presenter wasnt thinking about Vast when he made that comment...... I called the PR department at both companies in the last week and both of them were very careful not to say anything at all...... And basically wouldnt. They would have been better off just issuing a news release........ WZR is down about the same today as well so no big deal.. I would imagine they wanted to see what the well had so far.... The first formation was supposed to be light oil.... Then if they know what is in the other ones up to the 3900m I guess it would give a person a good understanding as to what is going on with it all.... I guess the thing I wonder is do they want to continue because the pay is so big and they think it keeps going or is it because results have not been good so far..... That makes sense as I think Longford was supposed to originally take the rig they had and then had to find another so they are keeping it. I also thought though that the well was getting more sensitive as the whole was getting more narrow ....... There was more risk to keep drilling.. Love to hear comments from someone with a lot of experience in oil...... I guess an extra 300 meters is nothing to drill if you have already made it most of the way and drilled the majority of the well.. Especially at the cost to get to that depth already...
