Running Fox Brett Project Update and Advisory Panel

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2011) - Steven Schurman, P. Geol (US), CEO, Director, reports:

Running Fox Resources, (TSX VENTURE:RUN) (PINK SHEETS:RFXRF) (FRANKFURT:C8Q) reports that its geological team has approved the drill locations for its upcoming exploration program on the northeast portion of its high grade Brett Gold Project.

The Company confirms receipt of correspondence today from the Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Petroleum Resources that its permits for this program are valid and which have been successfully extended.

Company geologists have also located drill pads on the southwestern portion of the Brett Project and are working on permitting that program as well regarding key gold intersections:

DH 87-29 interval- 8.62 meters grading 25 grams per tonne gold;

DH 83-16 interval - 33.5 meters grading 2.53 grams per tonne gold;

DH 87-42 interval - 2.74 meters grading 33.94 grams per tonne gold;

DH 87-46 interval - 15.55 meters grading 2.53 grams per tonne gold;

DH 88-02 interval - 25.92 meters grading 1.68 grams per tonne gold;

DH 88-16 interval - 33.53 meters grading 2.53 grams per tonne gold;

DH 88-17 interval - 6.10 meters grading 15.82 grams per tonne gold;

DH 88-22 interval - 27.74 meters grading 2.88 grams per tonne gold;

DH 88-32 interval - 16.76 meters grading 4.66 grams per tonne gold;

DH 93-12 interval - 10.67 meters grading 3.87 grams per tonne gold;

DH 93-17 interval - 3.05 meters grading 56.16 grams per tonne gold;

DH 93-19 interval - 16.76 meters grading 35.79 grams per tonne gold;

DH 04-01 interval- 10.2 meters grading 5.28 grams per tonne gold;

DH 04-02 interval- 11.6 meters grading 10.39 grams per tonne gold; and,

Importantly DH 04-12 interval 1.3 meters of 176 grams per tonne gold in a new shear zone.

Advisory Panel

The Company announces that Mr. Tim Coates and Mr. Warner Gruenwald have joined the Running Fox Advisory Panel.

Mr. Gruenwald is a Professional Geologist, and has 35 years exploration experience ranging from the management of grassroots to advanced stage exploration programs focused on precious and base metals. Mr. Gruenwald has operated as an independent consultant since 1985 and is the president of Geoquest Consulting Ltd. He is a Qualified Person (QP) as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Mr. Gruenwald has extensive and successful past experience in drilling and exploring the Brett Project.

Tim Coates, is a professional geologist with more than thirty five years experience in Senior positions in Europe and the Americas. In Costa Rica he managed the Bellavista Project from 1984 to 1989 and in 1992 had a leading role in the discovery of the Cerro Crucitas gold deposit.

Mr. Coates holds a Master of Science, (Geology), and an MBA. He is also a Professional Engineer.
