Be greedy when other are fearful

I can think of dozens of large companies on the TSX that have tanked huge from their pre-recession highs, and those who bought on the downtrend with the same "be greedy when others are fearful" philosophy got absolutely slaughtered. RIM has a very bleak future. More large companies are abandoning their hardware in favor of the competition and it's only going to get worse. But if you like losing money, feel free to buy RIM shares.
