RE: RE: RE: HRT FIELD TRIPHello, Kento:
That is great that you are taking the time to make the trip. Having been to the Amazon region around Belem, I have an idea of what you are walking into and will be seeing.
Make sure you have the necessary shots, especially for dengue fever, and/or pills needed for other jungle ailments to which you are exposed.
Some of my questions are:
1) How did projected production for 2020 dropped from 1 million BOE (per MM on June 6) to 350,000 announced last week?
2) What are the infrastructure plans for Namibia once production is determined to be forthcoming? One issue why no production of Kudu had occurred previously, that I read/heard, was that once the oil/gas would be ready, there was no place to transport it in Namibia.
3) If Petra issues are unresolved at that time, what are the alternatives being discussed? What is the likelihood that HRT is going to receive a windfall of cash on the deal?
4) Is it likely that the current Brazilian government will attempt to gain an ownership position in HRT in terms of "national interests" considering the government's intrusion into Petrobras?
Good luck on your trip and have a safe time and return.
