Prediction: Huge new private placement. New financing to take place around the .14 - 15 cent level or less. Vast will not be able to lend Longford the balance of the funds they need to drill. I am still presuming that Vast is sitting on a insignifcant hole and just doesn't want to come clean about it. However, their recent Columbian acquisition says enough, cuz thats what companies do after they getz dry holes. When companys hit something good, it never stays quiet for long. Cuz then ya don't have ta beg fer backers ta finance ya fer chump change like they have been doing at Longford. Longford is still not really even in the position to drill yet cuz they don't have enough money. Perhaps thats why there have been no press releases with regard to the imminency of drilling. Progress reports regarding readiness of the drill sight have also been non existant. Just silence (VAST had updates and pics of their's predrilling). In recent weeks we see a market that is casting its judgement on that silence by selling them down the toilet hence the new lows. Of course, there is also the issue of the 25 million they owe to the KRG that the bashers speak of. Will they even be allowed to drill until that is paid? Who knows? Not to mention what were the regulators doing messing with them a few weeks ago, how about a clarification from the management? So many questions! So whats the answer: A huge new private placement undertaken by a company whose management is viewed as mediocre by potential financiers. It'll have to be very generous in the current risk averse market!
