RE: Two Parallel Strike Zones...

RE: Two Parallel Strike Zones...
Part II..

For those of you that followed my first exercise, I would like to follow-up with Part II in order to better understand the ongoing drilling program at the 147 Zone.

If you have printed out the Drill Hole Location Plan Map-Black Fox Complex's New Discovery 147 Zone you can follow it from there, for those of you that have not you can refer back to my previous post, click onto the link and go to page 8.

Hole GF11-147 was the initial discovery hole...for this exercise I am going to use GF11-185 which was drilled further south along "strike". You can locate the data of GF11-185 by clicking on my previous post link and go to page 5. They stepped out about 25 metres in order to drill deeper into the 147 Zone.

Click on the following link:

https://www.brigusgold.com/pdf/2011-06-08%20Mine%20Tour%20.pdf

Go to page 35.

Once there you will locate Black Fox Complex: 147 Zone 2360N Cross-Section

This diagram is an excellent example of what is taking place at the 147 Zone...you must take the time and imagine that you are at eye level of the drilling...in otherwords...the underground drilling is taking place on a mountain side and you can see the drilling rig and follow the direction of the hole.

Once at the diagram locate hole GF11-185, at the top of the diagram is where the drilling rig was positioned to begin drilling, follow the data on page 5 of my previous post and you will discover at what point "downhole" they hit the mineralization. It is important to keep in mind that all exploration drilling is performed on a "slant" in order for them to cover a bigger cross-section of the structure below...this allows for a better understanding of the "lay of the land".

Hole GF11-185 is outstanding in terms of the mineralization they hit:

From 45.42 metres (downhole) to 119.00 metres (downhole) they hit 73.58 metres @ 3.36 g/t.
..within that mineralized zone of 73.58 metres they hit:
from 61.42 metres (downhole) to 68.42 metres (downhole) they hit 7.00 metres @ 6.20 g/t
also from 77.42 metres (downhole) to 80.42 metres (downhole) they hit 3.00 metres @ 5.69 g/t
and from 101.00 metres (downhole) to 114.00 (downhole) they hit 13.00 metres @ 11.12 g/t

If you follow hole GF11-185 on the diagram you will discover where they hit the 147 Zone...this is 45.42 metes (downhole)...in otherwords they hit barren rock until they came to the 45.42 metre mark from where the drilling was started at surface...from there they were into the mineralized 147 Zone for another 73.58 metres...in otherwords, they came out of the mineralization at the 119.00 metres mark from where they started the drilling at surface.

This is very, very important...it marks the start and the end of the 147 Zone at that particular depth...further drilling will establish whether or whether-not the mineralization (147 Zone) continues to depth....we already know for a fact that it contunues for 250 metres along "strike".

Also...it is very important to recognize that hole GF11-185 hit three separate zones within the mineralized zone...this is excellent...the separate zones should continue "to depth"...in otherwords we are more than likely looking at three separate veins...major geological occurrences coming from much deeper down...Nice!

I believe having a better understanding of the drilling program will assist in this play and other investments you may have...knowing what to expect and reading the data will help you make a much better investment decision.

Hope this helps!

Digger144

P.S. The hits at the 147 Zone are most significant...I believe strongly that they are not factored
in the share price at this time....that will change!
