HBME is engaged in uranium exploration in Nunavut, Canada. The Company holds 100% interest in the Coppermine Uranium Property, which consists of 16 claims and 39 leases covering 117,933 acres. The Coppermine Property is located in the northern region of the Early Proterozoic Wopmay Orogen, where the units of the orogen are overlain by Middle Proterozoic sedimentary rocks of the deeper, eastern lobe of the Hornby bay Basin. The HBME / MIE Metals Corporation joint venture, which is a 50/50 joint venture with MIE Metals Corporation on 29 mineral claims and one mining lease covering 60,906 acres. HBME is the operator of 10 mineral claims of the property, covering 25,825 acres, and owns 13 mineral claims and one mining lease of the joint venture, covering 36,144 acres (14,627 hectares).
