TransGaming Announces Wide-Spread Adoption of GameTree TV

TransGaming Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TNG), the global leader in the multiplatform deployment of video games, today announced the latest usage statistics since the launch of GameTree TV, the premier on-demand gaming platform for Smart TV. GameTree TV allows customers to instantly play high quality and family friendly games on-demand directly from the cloud on to their existing set-top box without the need for additional hardware or peripherals.

In the short period since launch, Gametree TV has been steadily growing its user base at an average growth rate of 7% per day with consumers playing over 200,000 minutes worth of games to date at an average transaction value of 5.22 EUR. Consumers can access games utilizing a variety of pricing models, ranging from one-day rentals to unlimited play. Return gamers account for 25% of game activity each week as TransGaming satisfies their need for new content by regularly adding new titles to the GameTree TV catalog. Now offering a library of over 30 games, GameTree TV has added titles such as Peggle and Bookworm Adventures to a line-up that includes such favourites as Fishdom H20: Hidden Odyssey, Plants vs. Zombies, Call of Atlantis, and many more.
