RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: bcm up 3% dnt down 6%usually after a downtrend as we have had, we need to see a capitulation day. Until that happens even if other stocks are doing OK, we may not follow.
IF (and that is a big if) we finish about where we are currently, we will have formed a hammer with a decent length shadow. We would need to see a confirmation in the days ahead. But then again there are many things that come into play - reaction to greek riots today, general markets etc.
As for shorting by the brokers following DNT, I think they would have done so at higher prices if that was their intent. Why wait for it to drop 30-40% and then short it. The numbers from several weeks ago did not change drastically.
As we went up fairly fast since last November, there is not a lot of areas of strong support coming down. If the brokers following DNT want to accumulate, they can do so slowly while the price drifts. If they are looking at the long term they have no incentive to give it support. The trick for them is to convince their clients to go along. That's why I was interested in house positions a few weeks back.
You have to watch it day by day.
