Rockex Mining Corporation is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the exploration and development of the iron potential of its 100%-owned exploration properties in Northwestern Ontario around the Lake St. Joseph area about 300 kilometers north of Thunder Bay, Ontario. It also has lithium potential at its 10%-owned Root Lake property in the same area, which consists of 94 contiguous cell claims (1,927 hectares). It has a 100% direct interest in the Western Lake St. Joseph Iron Project, consisting of 216 contiguous mining cell claims covering a nominal area of over 4,428 hectares. It holds a 100% interest in another iron project in relative close proximity to its Western Lake St. Joseph Project: East Soules Bay, a property consisting of 16 contiguous mining cell claims (328 hectares). Its North Spirit Lake property is underlain by Archean ultramafic komatite flows and peridotite subvolcanic intrusive rocks intercalated with oxide facies iron formation.

ROCKEX MINING ENGAGES VICE-PRESIDENT, INVESTOR RELATIONS

Rockex Mining Corp. has appointed Michael Borovec as vice-president, investor relations, to assume full-time activities at the company's Toronto offices. Mr. Borovec obtained a BA from York University in 2005 after receiving a diploma in business management from Humber College in 1999. Mr. Borovec has a number of years of consulting experience with various mining and energy firms, including acting as an investor relations representative for a TSX Venture Exchange-listed company, Pyramid Petroleum, of Houston, Tex. Mr. Borovec has been retained to assist the company with a mix of corporate communications and investors relations services to increase investor awareness and introduce the company to private investors, analysts, brokers, fund managers, trade media, newsletter writers, and other key influencers in the global mining industry and international investment community.

"We are pleased to have Michael join us to provide a full-time, open channel for communications with Rockex's shareholders and with institutional investors, investment funds, and brokers and agents in the corporate finance and investment industry," said Pierre Gagne, chairman of the board.
