Star Diamond Corporation is a Canada-based company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties. Its primary asset is its 100% interest in the Fort a la Corne property, which is located in central Saskatchewan. Its Fort a La Corne Diamond Project includes Star and Orion South Kimberlites. These kimberlites are in close proximity to established infrastructure, including paved highways and the electrical power grid. The Star-Orion South Diamond Project is located within the Fort a la Corne diamond district of central Saskatchewan, Canada. These Fort a la Corne mineral dispositions are located in the Fort a la Corne Provincial Forest, approximately 60 kilometers (km) east of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. It also holds a 100% interest in the Buffalo Hills Diamond Project, located approximately 400 kilometers northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The property covers a total of 21 mineral leases covering an area of approximately 4,800 hectares (ha).

For the purpose of our discussion I was trying to distinguish between companys who do or do not have a chance in hell of getting the money to build a mine without  43-101 Resource and Reserve documentation. For Shore the terminology is one and the same eg. "The  NI 43-101 Technical Report that documents the Pre-Feasibility Study ("PFS") and Mineral Reserve Estimate on the Star Kimberlite has been filed on SEDAR. "
Our only measure of comparison is with the NWT mines where majors not listed on the TSX built the mines. Granted , MPV did have to complete their own Feasibility Study but with De Beers backing the mine and owning 51% it was a lot easier.  Shore Gold's 43-101 Feasibility Study is a first for Canada. It may still not get them the cash though. Risk aversion is quite a bit higher now.
