NQ Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NQE) is pleased to announce that Mr. Michel Gauthier has accepted NQ's invitation to become the first appointment to its Advisory Board.

Michel Gauthier, engineering geologist, will act as a technical consultant. Mr. Gauthier graduated from Ecole Polytechnique with a doctoral degree in geophysics in 1982. He has 40 years of experience in mining exploration. Working as a consultant and professor of economic geology, he gained extensive knowledge of many types of deposits, the Americas, Europe, Australia and West Africa. He also acquired mineral industry management expertise as a mining portfolio manager for the Fonds de Solidarite FTQ, SOQUEM and junior mining companies, and as a technical consultant for legal and brokerage firms. His vast knowledge of metal deposits enables him to generate exploration project both in Quebec and abroad. As such, he was the cofounder of the Eleonor project in James Bay.

The Company has granted him 150,000 stock options at
.10, valid for a five-year period.
