Area of "exploration interest"Chappy’s maps are superb, but there now may be a slightlydifferent interpretation of the positioning of anomalies.
On June 21, 2011, Copper Fox said
“The area of "exploration interest" is anelliptical shaped zone (approximately 4kms wide by 20kms long) that is boundedon both sides by narrow, linear, positive TF and CVG magnetic signatures. Thesepositive magnetic signatures are interpreted to be regional scale faults. TheSchaft Creek deposit, the ES and GK zones of copper mineralization and therecently identified Schaft Creek mineral trend are located immediately adjacent to the 20kmlong positive magnetic feature located on the west side of the area of "explorationinterest".
Now on June 29, they use slightly different wording
“The airborne magnetic survey has identified an area of“exploration interest” located within the Schaft Creek property that measures 20 kms long by 4 kms wide thatincludes the Schaft Creek deposit and the ES and GK zones of coppermineralization each of which exhibits a distinct positive magnetic signature.”
The word "includes" implies to me that the Schaft Creek, ES and GK zones areadjacent to the western boundary, but inside the zone. Thiswould mean that most of the area of “exploration interest” is on Teck claims orthe new acquired claims. If that is the case, perhaps the delay is notassociated with claiming or acquiring more ground.
