MickI generally agree with your conservative posts over the years but find tonight you might have been a little optimistic. From your post ..................
With the 31 tools contracted for installation post breakup, WEE
should have 140ish installed.
That number is close to cover cash burn rate.
Just remember, Dec/09 WEE had 30 tools installed.
Since then, 18 months later that total is 140ish.
IS THIS PROGRESS OR WHAT?
It is satisfactory progress but I don't think it is great..... unless another client steps up with an expansion this year. We know more global deals are coming. The details will be interesting. 2 years time, assuming no big failures, with Wavefront or the markets things should look much different.
Pemex coming through will be huge. Wouldn't it be nice to know if Wavefront could provide information as to whether their potential project is even being presented to the Mexican government in August.
As for REAL PROGRESS the orchestration of the PP at $2.10 was brilliant !! Wish I understood it better at the time.
The premier client has gone from 3 to 63 to 108
objective.
There are now a number of clients with decent term
information which may join the premier client approach.
Children, waterflooding in a year to year decision and decisions
have at least a decade of influence. The year is half over. You would think that by now an expansion decision would be known. Perhaps that is why the SP is where it is. Waiting for next years budget cycle. With the 90 day terms I am still optimistic we will see one this summer.
Do you think these decisions
are made quickly enough to satisfy speculators who seek a
quick buck? Children, real money is not made over a short term
horizon, it is made over a decade or so if you are lucky enough
to hitch on to a potential billion dollar plus per year sales entity.
That is dreaming in my opinion.
From Letourneau: "At a 5% market penetration (10,000 systems) assuming discounted pricingof $3000/month, Wavefront’s revenue stream would be a compelling $360million per year. Through that lens, Wavefront’s stated goal of becominga billion dollar company is a matter of when, not if."
WEE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO !!!!!
No Oiltrader, the fat lady has not sung on WEE's future.AGREED !!
I might add, we still don't know what the $/tool is and what it will be. Look at what happened to Visa and Mastercard today when revenues were clarified. The same will happen to WEE.V if and when that ever happens. I understand in the near term it may not be that simple so as a long investor/gambler I must endure the roller coaster.
That being said, I find it a little insulting that all the many projects announced are NOT AT THE VERY LEAST, given a progress update on the website. Installed date, scheduled date, removed, terminated etc. I think this would be valuable information.
