Paris This post has nothing to do with Simba
Paris This post has nothing to do with SimbaIn Paris you can eat authentic Pommes Anna. A buttery dish, made of layered slices of potatoes sprinkled with clarified butter, Kosher salt and ground pepper, that is crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. Made with clarified butter because it doesn't burn with the long high cooking temperatures required for this dish. Only Kosher salt and cracked pepper are included, not other spices, becuase it is the subtle taste of the potatoes that make this dish famous. The reason I am bringing all this up is, because when we break out into the dollars range, you might want to celebrate with a meal of baked ham, Pommes Anna and a side of vegetables. Or why wait?
Of course, there may be other reasons why they are in Paris.
