Cline Mining Corp (CMK.TO) Raises 86.3m in a Share Offering Led by TD Securities

The Canadian Financing Bulletin (CFB) has been a leader in tracking financing activities of Canadian capital markets in the mining, energy and technology sectors for over five years. In this week's report, the CFB published term sheets for 25 new proposed placements from the mining, oil/gas (termed metals and energy in the report) and technology sectors. Of those, 18 were for mining stocks, four for oil/gas stocks, and three for technology stocks with the total value of new proposals reaching almost $587m. Three of these placements were designated a 'flow through' issuance and there were two new debenture offering. The largest new public proposal was by Touchstone Exploration Inc (TAB.V), which launched an offering consisting of 52.6m shares at a price of
.56 for proceeds of $30.0m in a placement led by Paradigm Capital.
The CFB published term sheets for 49 placements that were closed during the week. Of these, 36 were for mining stocks, eight for oil/gas, and five for technology stocks, with the total value of these closings being over $341m. 10 of these placements were designated 'flow through' issuances and two new debenture placements closed. The largest public closing was by Cline Mining Corp (CMK.TO) which issued 31.4m shares (including a 4,092,000 share overallotment) at a price of $2.75 for gross proceeds of $86.3m in a placement led by TD Securities.
The CFB also tracked six amendments to placements, four cancellations, and five overallotments, published at the end of the weekly report. To date, there have been 350 weekly reports created by CFB; backdated reports can be obtained by subscribers.
