I guess I was wrong about a buyoutMy prediction of a buyout certainly did not come true. I did point out that it was a very risky proposition. So risky that I decided not to buy any shares. That saved me a lot of money.
Too bad about those holding shares. This should have been a consistent dividend payer with a big moat, but management messed it all up. I have always said that convertible debentures are wonderful to common shareholders if the future works out but will be their death blow if it doesn't. The problem is that management always thinks the future is going to be rosy.
