Like I said yesterday this deeper potash to the southeast might be a boon for us in the long run. The shallower stuff in the north west can be mined open pit for 50 years, way longer than I will need, then by that time the rest will be mined maybe even by underground, that is a thick seam and in future will probably be very profitable by pillar and room mining. They make money doing pillar with coal, which is half the price of KCL for met coal. So can not understand why in the near future you could not mine it that way. It would probably be a little cooler to be under ground, imagine working in 45 degree heat all day. Hard on people and machinery.
I wonder if there is a high water table in the basin, has anyone heard whether that is an issue? I emailed Farhad about it but never got an answer.
