Oil battery on sked for Oct 1st start upMontney Development
RMP development plan calls for an aggressive drilling program in all the applied for lands
over a two year period, with more than half the number of wells drilled within the first twelve
to fifteen months. A map showing the proposed full development drilling locations for the
Montney Formation within the area of application is included with the attachments. Please
note that the rate of implementation for this planned development is contingent on the
success of the initial wells in the program, capital availability and commodity pricing.
RMP has already been drilling and developing the Upper Montney Formation utilizing
horizontal wells and multistage fracturing within the area of application. A map showing the
current Montney well development is attached.
Furthermore, in order to effectively produce the oil in the Waskahigan area, RMP is
currently constructing a 400 m3 oil/day, 600 10e3m3 gas/day battery at 12-7-64-23W5. The
battery will be fully functional on October 1, 2011, and will be connected to Pembina
Pipeline and to Alliance Pipeline. An extensive pipeline gathering system to each well pad
site will also be constructed to bring all hydrocarbon and water production from the wells to
the facility.
