RE: Economic Downturn and Acceleware?Obviously I cannot tell the future either pitbul13, but here are a few things that help me foresee the liklihood of even more momentum to come. It appears many energy company's are sitting with significant budgets for exploration while some have increased these budgets. This is definitely a good sign as many of these company's use the services of Paradigm and MicroSeismic. Obviously this relates directly to Acceleware and to the bottom line numbers for them. Much of the exploration being conducted today is not being done in the traditional areas. More and more we are seeing exploration being taken to much more complex geologies, and this in turn brings about an increased use of the company's with which Acceleware is working.
Just last year the Chinese invested slightly more than $2.2B dollars in the oil sands alone. It goes without saying the Chinese will throw huge amounts of money into something they want bad enough, but rarely will they throw that much into something without seeing that this will come back to them, plus.
The amount of horizontal drilling and frac'ing being completed in the shale gas plays, along with the neccessity of extremely accurate data interpretation in the case of deep water drilling, all points to a dramatic increase in the demand for services that use Acceleware's proprietary knowledge.
Some people downplay the buying recently by insiders. The fact that insiders are buying shares on the open market is always a good sign. Remember, these insiders really don't need to buy anything as they already own a significant amount of Acceleware shares. The shares they have recently bought, are in my opinion, a display of confidence.
So far the amount of work engagement that Acceleware is realizing and the financial benefit this is bringing to Acceleware is quite positive. And the best part is this is all from only one sector that Acceleware is involved with.
This is just my opinion but hopefully it helps to clarify what I think we can expect. It is not something that will necessarily happen overnight but long term I firmly see huge potential here.
