FWIW,
...no luck with my broker @ Qtrade, got stuck with somebody in India who insisted that CAA was halted and that July 13th was "tomorrow" [not kidding!].
then called Quotemedia support, their guy "John" eyeballed both CAA and CNX and thought the situation looked really strange.
so, next let's take it to the horse's [mouth?] ... just got off the phone with Callinan in Vancouver, their fellow "Braden" [sp?] said it's basically a fluke -- blamed it on being July.
also mentioned the run-up on Friday of CAA to ? 3.80 or so, with the dip down here to 3.40's perhaps indicates CNX got priced in already ... about what, $14MM over 11MM shares, puts CNX in the right ballpark ... so the math sort of adds up to support that idea.
only 830 on west coast, he said watch until later this aft, once trading gets some teeth out west he felt things would pick up, then pick up more once the lag goes, i.e., once CNX gets distributed into retail brokerage accounts and becomes actively available to trade.
he offered to xfer my call to the new CEO, but I figured why bother.
somebody else wants to do that later today, have at it...
cheers & GLTA
R.
