It's time to get this story out of how High River Gold is (I believe) being purposely held back by Severstal
Why would they do that?
So that Severstal and their related parties can acquire HRG shares at low prices, scaring investors to sell at less than $ 2.00. This at a time that HRG should be trading north of $ 3.00.
It's hard to imagine how you could possibly spin the incredible good news about HRG into anything less than spectacular. But, eventually, these games which are in my opinion being played by Severstal will come to an end when (a) it suits their purpose to offer a less than stellar offer to shareholders (anything less than $3.00 to me is unsatisfactory), or (b) they are forced to allow High River Gold to obtain full value through promotion so that their own planned Nord Gold IPO can have the valuation they want it to have. Again, these are my own opinions, and my lawyer says I am allowed to have one.
The other thought I have had is that it is quite possible that Severstal will consider the need to offload HRG to another party entirely, and as such, may in fact decide it is best to extract maximum full value for their 75% (approx) share holdings.
