RE: RE: Columbia blockadeHey guys,
Finally decided to join stock house today although I've been tracking this board since october of 2010. Just wanted to write something down in response to the blockade. I have family who do business in colombia in the oil sector. I'll be having dinner with them tonight and I'll be asking about these roadblocks so I'll get the truth on what's going on there.
I own CNE and believe they have a good position to develop into an intermediate of value. My cronies and I are all in this one with a five year window. Developing the capella is going to take time because of the pipeline restraints. There is a pipeline to the south with excess capacity I believe they are going to tie into to get there oil to the coast. This will take time but it should be a consistent 10,000 bbl/day payday for CNE off this alone. The farm in with C&C was an excellent move. The Coati already had a well drilled by ecopetrol which performed well but depleted quickly. The advantage here would be a water flood to keep the oil moving. There is also excess pipeline capacity nearby which would be a tremendous help. The other farm in which I can remember the name of right now also looks good. We really need one of these to hit or COR-11&39 for some quick increases to production and cash flow.
The Heavy oil properties will take a long time to develop because of infrastructure although it will happen over time. If CNE hits anything significant here they will be taken out or they'll have a partner to develop it all which will be the Chinese.
I guess what I'm trying to say is CNE is at an excellent S.P right now for anyone who's going long. Lets just watch and wait for all these drilling results and steer clear of the BS. Just my thoughts.
