RE: RE: This is no WTNYou're working under the assumption that I only had $15k in my TFSA.  I can assure you, last year was a good one - I was - and I stress WAS - sitting on upwards of $100k in my TFSA, prior to Cline's decline.

If what you meant is capital invested, then yes, of course, $15k is the maximum.  But who's kidding who - when you make it, and lose it, it still hurts (even if initial capital is still preserved).

P.S.  Nobody is whining; I prefer the term "venting."  This is a board where people with a common interest come together to exchange ideas and opinions.  Sometimes we disagree, sometimes we don't.  Other times, we win together; other times, we lament (or vent) together.  In any event, I appreciate everyone's contributions, whether I agree with them or not.  In time, we'll be rewarded; but as there is an economic value to time, even waiting around still "costs" us, n'est pas?
