 Doing stepouts will not produce big numbers, true, BUT it will get the attention of major gold producers.

Place yourself in their shoes. Would you rather partner up with or buy out a junior explorer with a 1mil ounce resource and no possibility to increase, or would you rather buy a property that has 1 million ounces and wherre drills are hitting mineralised ore on 2-3 km?

I would much rather buy the 2nd one since I know thatif there's 1mil ounces on 800m, the stepouts proved to me that there are likely 2.5 million other ounces on the rest of the strike.

All this without spending a fortune on infill..

Economically this makes more sense for PEM and any other potential partner or acquirer.
