RE: RE: RE: QUESTION??As far as i understand it, no one institution is able to manipulate the stock price. They usually work in bunches of 2-4.. in CUU's case we have 001-anonymous, 079-CIBC, 007-TD Securities, 099-Jitney Trades..
what these guys do is (definitely pre-planned) one institution will constantly buy at one point while selling low to each other and another selling more and buying low (referring to volume). And when it reaches certain SP... they will flip flop.. the other would be buying high and selling low and vise versa.. This way, they aren't losing big money and are being successful in manipulating the SP..
i.e: if me and vette and webgogs decide to boost the SP up.. what we would do is ask vette to start buying from say 2.00 to 2.05 and me and webgogs will be selling our shares to vette at those prices.. now vette has enough shares between 2.00 to 2.05.. now i start buying from 2.05 to 2.10 and vette and webgogs will sell their shares to me.. so i load up and now webgogs does the same thing 2.10 to 2.15..
This way if you do the math, no one is really losing money because vette and i make $$ when we sell it at a higher SP.. now webgogs will lose money because he sold his shares for less and bought it at a higher SP..but remember, me and vette made profits and when these big institutions plan this, they will share the losses as well.. because they are looking at a bigger picture.
this is strictly what i have noticed watching daily trades.. i could be wrong but thats what i think.
