Just to be clear, management has not reaffirmed the dividend several times.  They have reaffirmed the dividend policy.  Therefore, if earnings drop, so will the dividend.  The question is, how solid are the earnings?  Contrary to all the know-it-all armchair critics and supporters on this board, only time can tell on that.  Of course, they can always change their dividend policy some time in the future............
