LOLIt's amusing to read posts about how EVG has had it right all along in not promoting itself.
Very amusing, since EVG just decided to UPGRADE its promotion by hiring an in-house INVESTOR RELATIONS guy. I guess you think that's a mistake?
This upgrade is neither speculation nor idle gossip, but rather a fact. It's on the latest presentation. EVG put out a news release. Perhaps you noticed it?
If anyone has read the new company presentation and didn't notice it was an upgrade from past efforts in terms of facts and specifics regarding the projects, you weren't paying attention.
Promotion isn't a dirty word. It's letting the public know you have a good story.
Another thought for you who think there is no need to promote. I follow a very active precious metals site--tfmetalsreport.com. The most highly regarded poster on that site regarding juniors had never even heard of Evolving Gold until a question was posted last week. This guy has discussed -- intelligently -- scores of juniors stocks on that site and its predecessor. And, when prompted to take a look at EVG, he came away impressed. But, he perhaps never would have looked if he hadn't been prompted. Just getting the EVG name out there could pay incredible dividends, especially in the midst of what will be a very active drilling and reporting period.
Promotion is not the same as hype, or pumping. It's a legitimate business activity. Most people in the world have heard of Coke and Pepsi, yet both brands promote incessantly. I guess they're wrong, too?
