Further to my posting below: I found the costs of a "Sozialplan" for the closure of another paper mill inn Switzerland. Here is the link for those who can read German: https://www.grenchnertagblatt.ch/solothurn/sappi-rechnet-mit-100-millionen-franken-108031122

The costs for 550 employees was CHF 100 Million, or about $118 Million. For 41 people, the cost would commensurately be $8.8 Million, not the $3 Million I assumed. We will see, whether this makes it into the income statement, or whether there are reserves for this purpose that are off-balance sheet. I am following the local press around Landquart (correct spelling of the town!) as they surely will report about the final cost. The lay-offs, and the rude style how the were proclaimed, certainly did make the local papers...
