RE: RE: RE: Opti Agents

RE: RE: RE: Opti AgentsI agree that acting sooner than later is better.  If a stronger offer were to materialzie it is possible that we could again be left out in the cold.   IMHO the best thing we can do at this time is to continue building a solid base of disgruntled shareholders while at the same time soliciting expert  legal opinions about what action we should take and what our chances for success are.

Contacting Opti would be fruitless since management believes that as per their plan shareholders have been successfully eliminated from any discussions or negotiations and our voting rights stripped.  For all intents and purposes to them we no longer exist.

Contacting MP's and MPP's would likely have little impact other than to spread our story.  Politicians are unlikely to want to get involved.  Was it not already written in another post that an Alberta gov't rep when contacted  suggested shareholders take up the issue with the federal gov't because it is not within provincial jurisdiction.

Approaching the media is a good idea.  The exposure could result in assistance from unexpected sources.  At the very least it exposes the unethical behaviour of Opti's management.
