"When the excess cash starts ROLLING IN at NECC "

WHEN ? THAT'S THE QUESTION.

Not till 1/2 2013.= 2 Y.,and only if high coal price will hold till then.

2011 loses - short on capex like $ 20m
2012 excess cash will not cover the
EXCESSIVE CAPEX REQUIREMENTS 2012( $ 90m)
2013 and onward - no /little visibility - no one can tell what's gonna happen.

For next 2 Y the PROPER QUESTION IS :

WHEN THE EXCESS CASH FROM POCKETS OF SUCKING INVESTORS WILL STOP ROLLING INTO NECC?

One more clarification about CMK coke strength.

Weak CMK coal = weak CMK coke strength. Sheit is sheit - end of story
You can not change that - in that sense RBC is right.

The trick in blending weak and strong coals IN COKE OVEN
is to get somewhat acceptable aver. coke strength.

Another kind of blending is in steel FURNACE.
If there is enough amount of strong coke -able to withstand the weight and react at proper moment
you can add to the "blend" ( throw into fire ) any sheit
like tires ,plastic , CMK coke.,garbage etc.
Mostly for thermal value - not carbon.

1/2 of carbon in weak coke will be wasted -
will react with air = CO2
instead of ore.= steel.
That affects steel prod and it's cost.
Not to mention UNNECESSARY release of CO2.

( if 1/2 of CMK coal will turn into waste CO2:,instead of steel;
1.5mt coal = un-necessary additional 3- 4 mt CO2 in the air.
Got to give them Global Warming award LOL)

GUNNS SAID
As for the comment that it might cost $10 per ton to blend--
Cline won't be blending it! The end users blend it.
There will not be blending expense at Cline.

--------------------------------------------
BUT LOWER PRICE, BY THE COST OF BLENDING + A PROFIT FOR A " BLENDER"
Prime HCC (GCE,TECK) don't need to be blended
Prime HCC don't need sheit grades .
Sheit grades need prime HCC to be saleable

There are blendERS= making money on blending
and there are BlendEES - = bleeeeding cash on blending
Same as GUNNS - bleeding cash on CMK disastrous "investment " LOL

To my lovely "Star-Trek" nerd .-pundit
Son, there is no dark or brigt side.
There is only WINNING AND LOSING SIDE.

Guess , where you are loser?
Let the TARD_GENE STAY IN YOU ,son
