RE: RE: RE: its sad but i thinkNot one of my quotes? Maybe cableslack?
There are some extra issues perforating and testing through more than one casing string (which is why I commented that I thought they would drill deeper BEFORE doing this kind of test?)
Never mind they have done the deed and when they finish testing they will be applying casing patches or doing cement squeeze jobs on the Aalijii perfs. (Maybe they are done already?)
For me I am just looking forward to this next couple hundred metres of drilling. While it is nice to know there is movable oil in the Aalijii sands - mixed in with all the source rock stuff - I suspect that exploiting those reserves (resources) is more of an industrial process like much of the Bakken/Montney type of stuff here in North America. So unless we get a really good test result I am not holding my breath for that result. I have no worries that commercial reserves can be assigned but it really is the high perm fractured carbonates that everyone needs to see proven here in order to get excited again.
