Banking sector Now that the fools in Washington have finally made a deal regarding the debt ceiling, watch the American financial sector Monday. I am predicting a that both the banks and the insurance companies will bounce back or at least lay flat. The US is still in trouble but in the short term some uncertainly is gone and 'normal' market conditions should return. If I am right, then on Tuesday we should see all of the Canadian financial sectors spike upwards as systemic risk from the US dissipates. LBS, I believe because of its exposure to Manulife was hit harder by this crisis and now should at least return to a normal $9.00 level. JMHO. Am I missing something?
