RE: tax refundsthis is a US issue but AC does a lot of flights to the US. I don't see AC giving back any of the taxes collected. The following is about DAL

https://www.cnbc.com/id/43919466 there are plenty of articles with regards to this issue. I find it unbelieveable that the FAA collects more than all the airlines make collectively make in any given day. I do not think the airline industry profits are anywhere near 30 million a day :(

Anyways if they do not resolve this before the break it will take upto 6 weeks before this can be corrected and airlines will reap the benifit.
