Maurizion regarding Capital LossThanks. I understand your strategy. But let's look at it from a different angle.
If I had 10,000 shares and sold at 2.00 that will give me 20,000$
If within 30 days I repurchase I cannot claim the capital loss on the stock.
But I would be in a better position if I repurchase at 1.80 because that will now give me 11,111 shares instead of the initial 10,000 shares.
If you hold the stock you cannot claim capital loss
If you repurchase the stock within 30 days you also cannot claim capital.
With either method the capital loss cannot be incurred but with the latter you would have had a stock appreciation of 11.11% in stock units.
That was the point that I was attempting to make.
