RE: S&P lowers US Credit RatingLUN has been falling more than the index because it is a base metals producer, and as prospects of of slower economic growth set in, the demand outlook for their products fall accordingly.
Still, nothing wrong with the company, which has solid earnings and good prospects for the future, as well as an insignificant amount of debt and lots of cash on hand.
It's pretty much trading at book value, so as a value investor, looking for long-term gains, this is an excellent play.
Just don't panic on the volatility.
