Watch for the Pivot Point (and other nonsense)

Watch for the Pivot Point (and other nonsense)I love how everyone is saying that things will turn around today.

Seems people have a limited memory and the collapse of 2008 - which took longer than 2 to 3 days - is easilly forgotten.

Do people realize the consequences of the US not being able to borrow money?

It pretty much means all the dollars in circulation are worthless.

And if the US (historically the strongest economy in the world) is worth nothing, what does that leave for the rest of the world?

The US has kicked the can so many times in the past, people just assume they can kick it again.

But what if they can't?

I am looking for a significant pullback that takes days if not longer to complete.

Think about it: Q/E is temporarily over and people are getting fed up of the growing debt in the US.

The US economy has not found a quick out and it appears that politicians don't want to raise taxes so that spending is matched with revenues.

The American people do not all have jobs and therefore can not pay the government if they levy taxes.

If the government increases taxes, more corporations will consider leaving or shutting down operations.

But I guess this is a short term problem that will be resolved shortly.
