DOGO's Branconnier connection

DOGO's Branconnier connectionposted Aug 4, 2011 11:59 AM by Roy Hales [ updated Aug 7, 2011 8:08 AM ]
Aside from one obvious error, Vancouver SUN columnists David Baines’ expose of Rene Branconnier’s latest venture appears to be substantially correct.

Baines writes that Branconnier is the sole officer of Impact Technologies, which is registered in Nevada, a position actually held by Fernando Londe, but Branconnier is the sole officer of three new private companies that appeared last year. “Omni Data Capital Corp“ is registered in BC (BC890408). “North American Data impact Group” (NV20101819806) and “Omni Data Group (USA) Inc”(NV20101819823) were both registered in Nevada on November 17 2010. That happens to be same day that Fernando Londe’s newly acquired shell adopted the name "Digagogo Ventures". The timing of these events does not appear to be a co-incidence.

The catastrophic losses of Branconnier’s two previous companies is a matter of public record.

Search any of Global 8’s annual filings (designated by 10-K or 10-KSB), millions of dollars were paid out in consulting and other fees while the company’s revenue was always reported as “0”. When the Board suspended Branconnier's contract, they found the company bank virtually empty and no projects underway. RB is still withholding the records, despite a Nevada Court ruling dating back to August 17, 2010, and any assets.

Branconnier and his associates usually blame Thermo Tech’s crash on the Malaysians who acquired that company in 2001 but, as Baines reports, “By April 2000(ie - long before the Malaysians arrived on the scene), when it filed its last financial statements, cumulative losses had soared to $80.4 million.”

So what about Branconnier’s latest venture? Despite its recent price surge, an independent analyst who was unaware of the Branconnier connection concluded Digagogo “is a risky startup venture that has yet to generate any revenue and doesn’t appear to be sufficiently funded to carry out its business plan.”

Baines is correct in stating that though Branconnier is neither an officer or Director, his fingerprints are all over Digagogo. The company's supposed headquarters is in North Carolina, but Digagogo’s two pilot projects are in RB’s backyard (Vancouver, BC) and the Red Deer franchise was acquired by RB’s nephew and business associate Dennis Branconnier (see page 6 of the attached filing). Three of Digagogo's contracts with the following format have been filed on the SEC website:

to the Purchaser

and Digagogo:

Digagogo Ventures Corp.

8412 Armstrong Road

Langley, BC V1M 3P5

Attention: Rene Branconnier

Facsimile Number: 604-888-0796

Email: rjbconsultant@hotmail.com

Note that Digagogo uses RB's home address (8412 Armstrong road, Langley BC) and the notation “Attention: Rene Branconier” is found under the heading “Purchaser”. Should you wish to see this for yourself, look atpage 19 of the contract with Banyan Technologies, page 19 of the contract with Black Swan or page 21 of Digagogo’s Asset purchase agreement with Swebby.

The BC Securities Commission imposed a Temporary Halt on Digagogo until August 4 and this has now been extended until posed August 11, but what happens after it expires? Even if this grows into a Cease Trade Order, what is to stop Branconnier from simply moving on to start another venture?

What about all the victims Branconnier has left behind? What about the investors who Baines claims have lost more than $110 million because they trusted Branconnier and his associates? What about Thermo Tech, whose ghost continues to haunt the Pink Sheets? What about Global 8, which continues to fend the alleged predator off, while attempting to clean up the mess he left behind ANDestablish a legitimate business?
