Yes Majormac, S&P is probably the worlds most corrupt organization, not to mention inept.  They rated Enron investment grade, they rated all the large Banks investment grade right up until it was over. 

Now, the markets panic because S&P downgraded U.S. Treasury's.  It just goes to show that the markets are simply mad in the short run.   The good thing is that they are pretty efficient in the medium term and they are nearly perfect in the longer term.

Anyone who can keep emotion out of his/her investment decisions can use this short term madness to get rich.  I wish I had bought more yesterday -of everything I own.  I did buy some, but my stupidity kept me from putting all my money back in. 

Even if this madness continues for a few more days or weeks,  there were some incredible bargains yesterday and WOF is still an incredible bargain today.
