Mr. David Hjerpe reports
NEW GOLD AREA CRAZY FOX PROPERTY
Newmac Resources Inc. has received results from a geochemical survey and resampling of historic drill holes at the Crazy Fox property. The Crazy Fox Molybdenum-Tungsten-Gold property is located about 100 km north of Kamloops, British Columbia on the eastern edge of the Cariboo Plateau about 20 km NW of Little Fort, British Columbia.
Geochemical assay results up to 1409 ppb gold were obtained from soil samples collected in the vicinity of the Lemieux Creek fault. These results plus ones obtained in 2010 show that the area possibly hosts gold mineralization over a600 meters by 250 m area. . The anomalous soil samples may be the northern extension to the gold mineralization which is exposed roughly 1 kilometer to the south along the fault where historical geochemical assays of soil and talus fines collected in 1984 returned up to 5100 ppb gold.
Over 9 kilometers of the north trending Lemieux Creek fault occurs on the Crazy Fox Property. This fault juxtaposes Carboniferous to Permian basaltic Fennell Formation in the east with Triassic Nicola Group in the west. Possible altered granitic rocks occur within the faulted rocks roughly 1 km to the south of our soil samples.
