Shorting actually makes stocks move up whenever a large amount of shorters are forced to cover.
They must buy the stock to get their money.
I think you are seeing short covering happening here today.
Without shorting a stock would not move up as hard.
Anyway I am in for 50,000 shares. Thanks.
