RE: RE: Good volume

RE: RE: Good volumeWell folks, welcome to globalization. If you ever wondered what globalization really means just look at the recent market volatility, which is a direct consequence of greater integration of economies and world trade. Markets or economies are no longer immune from the effects of another, be it a tiny country like Greece or every growing powers like China and Brazil.

Investing in this environment, one has to digest ever increasing volumns of data. Consequently, ignoring macro economic/political events is like driving in the middle of the night in a blizzard with only one headlight. So why invest in hard assets like met coal? Well, as I see it, I'm betting that the US dollar will continue to depreciate and that the dollar depreciation (i.e. hard assets denominated in dollars) will continue to increase and offset any potential pressure on world economies.

I'm betting that the US dollar will depreciate for the foreseeable future because this is the only way the US can deal with their mountain of debt. They have absolutely no choice. The only way is to inflate out of the problem, essentially making their debt cheaper.

Now that New Elk is up and running, at least for the short term, I only see good news releases which should show continued support for the SP. I think right now is a good place to be in Cline with the blue seam mine permit to be received soon, sales contracts to be announced, operational updates showing increased production. And I think todays trading action would suggest the big boys think likewise. The wall @1.95 may not be real. GLTA.
