RE: Fire Assays
RE: Fire AssaysErco
from the May 17th news release:
"It should also be noted that check assays on the entire interval reported herein for hole ICN-003 were completed at a second laboratory prior to releasing results as a precautionary measure given the high grade mineralization"
and
"Original assays were completed at ALS Chemex in Reno, Nevada, and the check assays were completed by American Assay, also located in Reno, both of whom are certified laboratories."
and
"At both labs, an initial fire assay with atomic adsorption finish was completed for all samples, and subsequently, for samples in excess of 10 g/t, a conventional gravimetric assay was conducted."
So I am going on the premise that:
1) 15 cores were completed by June 9th
2) June 9th to August 12th is over 2 months, so I am deducing that check assays were needed which is why it took so long
3) A few posters have mentioned that they spoke with IR and IR said check assays being performed
4) Historically, high-grades all over Goldfield Main
5) Super high-grades reported from ICN-003 already on May 17th
6) Lode-Star drilled all kinds of high-grades in the past (1-20-11 news release)
So I can't be certain, but I gotta believe we got some high-grades in those 11 cores. Hopefully we find out Monday morning (early)!
