RE: RE: Goldboro Announces 50oz of Gold over 1/2 M
Ken: You did a great job:
"Do I believe the gold is there in economic quantities, YES. Do I believe it is amendable to large scale open pit ming, NO
These are my opinions, and I may be wrong but after 23 years of false starts I think it's time to look at things in a different light."
OSK has not indicated they will walk or not, but every indication says that they will leave. They are already behind the schedule, and they must drill and spend lots of money in 4 weeks otherwise they will drop OX. 90% probability in my opinion that they will drop OX, and the news may come within 2 to 3 weeks. If OSK does not announce drilling in 2 weeks, 100% probability OSK will drop OX.
Why? Ken has made it clear that Goldboro may not "amendable to large scale open pit mining" but OSK comes in for open pit mining, and thus  "its time to look at things in a different light".
So, stop any day dreaming and we have seen many such as "OSK will buy out OX in 2010". OSK did not buy OX in 2010, and there is no sign that OSK will buy OX this year, or even next year.
It is actually BETTER if OSK drops OX, and OX should start planning for production immediately after OSK drops OX. If OSK decides to stay with OX, I will be disappointed because OSK will continue to explore the open pit model for Goldboro, and OX shareholders will continue to suffer for 2 more years of slow drilling.
