If the likes of SMF IMG and K are all raking in big profits so are most of the big guys and they will be flush with cash. Once you see one acquisition take place it will be good for most juniors or mid range producers. Like last year they will all have a takeover premium applied to them.

1/2 way through the quarter and the average price per oz sold has to be up near $1650 now. This will add nicely to the bottom line if gold can hold between $1650 and $1700 for the remainder if the quarter.

CIBC dropped their target to $15 from around $18. A little more realistic considering the black cloud over the markets.

Hopefully money will come back to the market just before labor day.
