GPRFAN - TRUST mThere are many silver stocks that have fallen in a much deeper hole than OK and their investors keep the faith just wishing that they will break even or not lose too much. I won't name names but I had one such for 5yrs with all the promise of the elephant and when silver was 12.00 this stock was worth exactly twice as much as it is today with silver three times what it was then.
This is why it is so hard to make money in the market.
My time frame is April of 2012. As far as dead money is concerned that is in your savings account.
We are all sorry we didn't sell at 3.25 and buy back in but I always ask myself if I had sold at 3.25 would I buy back in now and if the answer is yes then I keep it and if the answer is no as in the stock I cited above then I will sell it.
You have to look at what is happening to silver stocks in general. They are all beaten down even and especially the majors. PAA has only moved fractionally in the last 2 yrs still in the 20's
Like it or not we'll be in lock step with PAA until next year or a buyout.
It's the summer. Take a holiday.
