in reality it was a bc hdyr tower and the cause was the river cut under the foundation causing it to fall over heres the story in the vancouver sun.

METRO VANCOUVER - As crews grapple with repairing a massive BC Hydro transmission tower ripped from its concrete footing and dragged into the Fraser River, an SFU professor is warning the waters have been running so high that tunnels and bridges might also be at risk.

The tower tore away from its concrete and wooden footings, dragging a 230-kilovolt power line into the fast-flowing water, which took out power to 25,000 homes and businesses, and closed the Port Mann Bridge on Monday night.

Hydro blamed the collapse on riverbank erosion that happened within a matter of hours, caused by high water and a heavy current
