RE: The catch up game.
RE: The catch up game.I would agree with much of what you said hope.
On that subject of mergers and the like. Back in March of this year Ewan Downie made a few comments about Premier.and where he wanted to go with Premier.
He stated that some competitors had shown an interest in maybe acquiring Premier's Hardrock Project in NW Ontario but a deterrent was the fact that Premier had Goldcorp as a partner in some of it's projects.
For that reason Ewan stated that he would like to spin off the Hardrock Project at some point and the best way to do that would be to spin it off as a seperate entity so to speak.
Well here we are some months later and Premier has taken over their partner on the Hardrock Project and that leaves to door open for a re-structuring of Premier in some fashion.
What I see in the immediate future is Goldcorp swallowing up a few more projects in the Red Lake area.
Potentially the Rahill-Bonanza project they already own 51% of and Premier owning 49%.
In addition I see Mega as a takeover target for Goldcorp if Mega is successful in the short-term at confirming the continuation of the HGZ.
Mega has a strong position in the Madsen area and that project will soon evolve in my view to become an active mining project.
How that will evolve is anybody's guess but the likelyhood of Premier/Sabina/Mega/Claude Resources and Goldcorp being part of that enlarged and enhanced advanced project is highly probable in my opinion.
Who will emerge as the lead operator of Madsen?
Goldcorp?Mega?Claude Resources? or Premier?
I think that depends on which of these is taken over in the next 12 months and by whom!
Bottom line is Red Lake will begin to evolve and I believe very soon.
